Ken Griffey Jr. Interview with Sole Collector Training

Ken Griffey Jr. Interview with Sole Collector Training

Griffey3

Ken Griffey Jr. is fifth all time in career home runs, and the only of four players in the top 10 on that list, who most people believe did not take steroids (the other three have even admitted as much).  There are so many reasons that’s probably true, but don’t forget that Nike helped gain the Kid some of his goodwill.  Junior’s Nikes were among the most popular cross trainers in the 90’s, and even as his injury plagued 00’s saw a marked decline in production (the guy could have had like 900 HRs by now), Griffey Air Maxes continued to fly off the shelves.  Sole Collector recently got up with Griffey to discuss his legacy with the Swoosh, and you can read both parts at their new SC Training Blog.
