Last October, an aspiring young designer named Austin Jermacans had his life-long dream come true when his submitted design for the Jordan Melo M6 came out on top in the 2009 Future Sole Contest. After working with Jordan Brand to finalize a finished product of his Melo M6 product, Jermacans will have his prototype be put in use, as Carmelo Anthony will wear the Melo M6 Future Sole tonight during the Nuggets’ contest against rising star Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Jermacans’ design of the Melo M6 is not far from the original, feature a large cross-foot panel with a Jumpman logo on the outer toe.
