Reebok Alien Stomper – Fall/Winter 2010

Reebok Alien Stomper – Fall/Winter 2010

ReebokFallWinter2010-Alien-2

We see alot of shoes with pop culture references these days, but how about a shoe that was created specifically for a Hollywood film?  No, we’re not talking about the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’, but rather, the Reebok Alien Stomper.  Frequently referred to as just ‘Stompers’, these RBKs won’t have you thinking the Air Jordan XX stole its instep strap, but you get the picture.

There’s also another strap around the ankle, because these kicks have no laces.  They were made for Sigourney Weaver’s Ellen Ripley character from Ripley Scott’s Alien franchise, so they have that futuristic look with the velcro, without going the full-on HR Giger route.  With these pairs particularly, they’ve been done in a cool grey with a single colour and white as the accents.  That means that pairs with red or blue hits will be perfect for stomping on the concrete, or if you happen to get jettisoned into space.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via Provider
