We saw several different shoes calling themselves the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV, but it turned out that the very first sample was the base for an upcoming retail release. Proof that all sneakers go through design changes, the new Nike Zoom LBJ Ambassador III. In the photos after the jump, you’ll see how the sample Ambassador IIIs featured a smoother mudguard as compared to the release version that sees a cutout.
One particularly curious note in these images: the heel looks like your classic Air Max cushion, but each Ambassador thusfar has been Zoom Air-equipped (they’re also historically an Asia exclusive).
