The adidas Top Ten Mid was very likely part of the reason that the Nike Air Force 1 became the default shoe for a generation. The Top Ten was released in 1979, endorsed by two handfuls of NBA players in what can be seen as the predecessor to Nike’s AF1 grouping of Moses Malone, Michael Cooper, et al. So it’s possibly overshadowed and under appreciated for its influence, but the adidas Top Ten is back in a dope navy, silver and white colorup that will demand attention today, especially from Yankee fans. Grab a pair today from Foot Locker.
