The upcoming hanon x Asics GT II ‘Northern Liites’ caught some people off-guard, especially since they’re so different from last year’s Nike SB Dunk Mid ‘Northern Lights’. Today, we have some new images of this team effort, and it’s more clear now that the Asics side panel ‘tiger stripes’ in blue and green on a black base are to represent the colored light eminating from Aurora Borealis. A continuation of the ‘Northern Sole’ theme hanon has been working on for a few years now, these joints have a woven ‘Keeps on Burning’ label in celebration of the Scottish sneaker shop’s 20th anniversary. These kicks are set to hit hanon‘s own shelves on Saturday, April 10th, with a global release on the following Saturday.
