Nike Air Force Check 180 Hybrid Sample

Last year Nike took the classic Nike Air Force 180 upper and slapped it on a vulcanized midsole to form the Nike Auto Force 180. Did Nike mix up their shipments somewhere down that road? Where did all the Air Force 180 midsoles go? Oh, here they are. Nike’s next hybrid experiment comes in the form of a AF180 midsole combined with the upper of the Nike Air Check that released in 1993. The combination of the two 90’s Nike Basketball classics isn’t too far off from the original; the Nike Air Check had a very Trainer-like midsole on its own featuring a few jagged edges like that of the AF180. The overall reception to these hybrids has been lukewarm so let us know what you think about this latest experiment.
