BREAKING NEWS:
NBA Fanhouse is reporting that as LeBron James prepares to embark on a cross country free-agency tour, he has also been in talks with Nike to create a special shoe for each stop along the way. If it comes to fruition, there will likely be a new colorway of one of the LeBron VII models for each city, with the date of each visit printed somewhere on the shoe. Of course, it would obviously take some time to get the sneakers produced, but who knows how long ago they started working on the concept. It has been announced that the long-awaited LeBron free-agency courtship period will begin in New York and New Jersey, followed by a trip to the Windy City and a possible final leg that would hit Miami and that other Los Angeles team. It remains to be seen if the sneaker tour will follow along and whether or not the possible kicks will be available for retail, but you know we’ll keep you up on all the breaking developments, so keep it locked.
