Mike Bibby’s been rocking heat since his days as a Wildcat in the desert and it followed him up North when he was drafted second overall by the Canadian expansion team. The Grizzlies lasted just three more seasons in British Columbia after Bibby was drafted, and during his final season as Vancouver Grizzlies point guard, Mike Bibby wore this great Player Exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan XVI, coinciding with the general release of the shoe. Jordan PEs are nothing new the Mike Bibby but for collectors, they were a lot harder to come by at the time. The Air Jordan XVI PE features a Air Jordan XI Concord-like black and white upper with a turquoise colored midsole to match the Grizzlies uniform (one that has undergone a number of changes).
