Vans has released a few sneakers with wingtip styling, but never on this particular model. The Vans Sk8-Hi ‘V38Medallion’ carries something of a strange nickname, but we’ll assume the reference is to the golden print on both pairs’ tongue tags. Both of these feature a wingtip toe and upgraded vulc soles, but the application of their leather uppes is quite different. One pair goes the all black everything route, while the others are an exercise in tonal browns. These are out now at Japanese retailer ABC-Mart, so stick with Sneaker News for word on a possible US release.
