Sneaker News is always about keeping you in the know, so if you’ve been a regular reader, you might remember these shoes that were presented in mid-May. Here’s a better look at this upcoming Kobe shoe – via NT – although it isn’t quite clear if this is the Nike Zoom Kobe VI (6), the Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season III (3), or perhaps some wear-test pair that leaked out. There are no indications that this shoe is or isn’t the Kobe VI (6), but the design of the shoe doesn’t exactly follow the Nike Kobe line of the “soccer-basketball” shoe theme, and the overall design itself can be described as somewhat pedestrian for someone of Kobe Bryant’s stature.
The slightly larger frame of the shoe could mean it is an early sample of the Nike Zoom Kobe Dream Season III, but only time will tell at this point. This sample features ample Kobe branding – his samurai logo on the tongue and bottom sole and a newly introduced “KB” logo on the heel, but where it falls in the Kobe lineage is indeterminable. The toe as well as the heel counter feature a faux-snakeskin, so these could be a new “Black Mamba” model of some sort.
