The Labor Day weekend is here and that means two things: Don’t wear white, and check out the Sneaker News Weekly Rewind! Starting off the week, Sneaker News brought you a further look into the Jordan Brand Holiday 2010 Lookbook with a look at the rest of the catalog of sneaker releases. We also gave you heads up on a nice variety of upcoming Nike Sportswear releases, like the return of another OG Air Max 90 colorway and two new 24/7 colorways. Sneaker News also provided you an exclusive detailed look at the Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse sample that was originally posted in the WDYWT section of Sneaker News Blogs. Speaking on the topic of ‘revamped classics’, Sneaker News also reported the upcoming releases of the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid in a number of eye-catching colorways.
The celebrities came out once again but what stole the shoe was LeBron James’ first appearance as a Miami Heat in an official NBA practice, as James wore the Soldier IV during a work-out session with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. While his teammate Dwyane Wade didn’t make much noise this week, we did confirm the release of the 25th Anniversary Air Jordan 2010 – a similar colorway that Wade wore during the 2010 All-Star Game. The Future Sole Design Competition winners were also announced, and we got a look into the triumphant designs. But despite all the Nike and Jordan Brand news, it was an adidas shoe – a Jeremy Scott one to be exact – that caused the most discussion.
