Is there more to the Air Jordan III Doernbecher than we initially thought? These new images of the upcoming Air Jordan release reveals an interesting design feature of the shoe. Cole Johansen, the 11-year-old behind the concept of the shoe, chose a reflective 3M material on his final design, using the flashy material on the mudguard as well as on the tongue and lace placket. When hit was camera flash, the tongue changes from a solid black to an illuminated tone as does the mudguard of the shoe. 3M is always a tasty feature on any sneaker so with this new revelation, the Air Jordan III Doernbecher just went up a few notches.
