Even with months of hype leading up to the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season, Black Friday at Nike Sportswear in New York managed to exceed expectations.  We’ve known about the huge docket of high profile sneaker drops for a good while now, so stuff like the Air Force 1 Foamposite in black and the seventh Doernbecher Freestyle collaboration were hotly awaited.  But along with these drops came the insanely deluxe AF1 Low Destroyer ‘1664 Pack’ plus the Nike Mobile Customization Lab so sneakerheads on hand could apply custom laser etching to whatever they chose.  The fever pitch has become more of a droning note as we get ready for four straight weeks of buy-buy-buy, but be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the latest in holiday release dates.  via FRESHNESS
