Were NBA writers so notoriously biased against repeat winners, Michael Jordan very well might have six regular season MVPs to go along with his six championship rings. Karl Malone won the MVP in 1996-97, but MJ and the Bulls beat Malone’s Utah Jazz in both that year and the following’s Finals, the latter of which saw Mike rock the above pictured kicks. The Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoffs’ also showed up in the ’98 NBA All-Star Game where Mike won his third ASG MVP in Madison Square Garden, so despite not being the ‘Last Shots’, they’re synonymous with greatness.
