There were about eleventy billion ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley’ remixes this summer, and given how intertwined hip-hop and sneakerhead culture have always been, it’s somewhat surprising one of them didn’t list three immortal sneakers. The Nike Air Force 1 would just have to be on the list of, say, ‘Forces, Maxes, Jordans’, and the above pictured pair is designed to bridge the gap by emulating the unmistakable Bentley grill. Designed for LA Angels outfielder Torii Hunter, these joints add the familiar metal grid to the Uptown’s rear quarter/heel panel, whereupon an Angels-style ’48’ is applied to the lateral ankles. At the same height on the toebox you’ll find JGOODS’ signature, and you can see more of his latest creation by clicking the jump below. Enjoy the extra photos and let us know, how does Torii Hunter’s ‘Bentley’ Air Force 1 stack up to the other customs we’ve seen recently? via PaintOrThread
