The Jordan Hardcourt Classic may seem like another new Team Jordan model, but it’s actually inspired by a shoe long considered as one of the best non-Legacy Air Jordan designs ever. The Jordan Team 1 was the second non-Legacy design which followed the widely successful Jordan Jumpman Pro; originally introduced in 1997, the Jordan Team 1 was specifically made for collegiate and high-school teams but was still a popular choice for casual wear. The Jordan Hardcourt Classic borrows design elements from the Jordan Team 1 and combines it with contemporary styling, with a most obvious change being the visible Air Unit that spans the entire midsole. You might have seen the Jordan Hardcourt Classic over the weekend when both Ray Allen and Quentin Richardson wore PE colorways during the Boston/Orlando showdown, and in January 2011, these rehashed classics can be yours.
