The beat-driven edutainment program is kinda like a real-life Rockafire Explosion, plus the songs offer great advice like, “You can’t always get what you want . . . you don’t have to whine . . . you don’t have to keep on askin’.” Teaching kids to be chill is an admirable persuit, and one that should make the Yo Gabba Gabba! x Vans pack a big hit among hip parents. There are eight pairs in all split between two Sk8-His and six Slip-Ons, each of which offers a take on a different main character, with one of the Sk8s offering the show’s group logo.
