Yesterday we got a look at the Asics Speedstar 5 and its mesh-induced gradient, and little did we know the Swoosh had something equally audacious in its performance leanings. The Nike Zoom Streak has a design as light as its name is brief, a one-piece mesh upper with Zoom Air cushioning that weighs in at a mere 200g, or roughly half your average modern running sneaker. There are no natural lines to colorblock save the eyelets, so the Streak goes for a wild design with stripes and sublimated graphics that compliment the neon Swooshes. A wild design even in an era where Hyperfuse, Foamposite and Flywire are all the rage, the Nike Streak should hit retailers soon so stick with Sneaker News for updates. via SF
