We made the comparison between adidas and Nike’s basketball divisons when recently previewing the upcoming Crazy 8 retros, and here’s another case where that effect is present, if not doubled. The adidas adiPure is crafted in the breathable SprintSkin synthetic that while somewhat similar to Nike Hyperfuse (not to mention the PureMotion podular sole taking its cues from KB8-era ‘Feet You Wear’), actually predates the Swoosh’s latest great material. But there’s no denying the similarity between these first two colorways and the various Highlighter Packs, given the ASG pair’s yellow look and this new model’s neon green design.
