It was a bit of a surprise when Eric Koston announced in spring 2009 he was leaving Lakai, but skaters and sneakerheads alike immediately started to imagine what it’d be like if he hooked up with Nike SB. He signed on a few months later and in the intervening 18 months we’ve seen two Koston x Nike SB Dunks but it’s taking a bit longer to get his signature model to retail. The Nike SB Zoom Koston One will make a big splash when the initial colorways release this summer including a black/silver pair, one in blue and gold that mimics his SB Dunk Low ‘Thailand’ and a dope Sport Red edition with Tiffany Swooshes we saw teased last month as a Supreme collaboration.
