Nike Basketball 2011 All-Star Game Footwear

In 2009 and years prior, the main theme in play with NBA All Star Game sneakers was about as simple as which conference you’re reppin.  But last year, Nike Basketball shook things up a bit and applied a sick woodgrain texture to their already outrageously colored ASG looks and immediately had us wondering how they’d top that this time around.  And with the Nike Zoom Kobe VI and a few Zoom Hyperfuse Lows having already given us a 3-D look, there’s a different special effect in play for the game in Los Angeles.  On the All Star ZKVI, LeBron 8 V/2 and KDIII, you’ll notice that the tongues are all equipped with a lenticular material that flips back and forth between the player’s PE logo and a reference to the team for whom he’s starting.  The tagline ‘Attack From All Angles’ is a fitting wordplay and you’ll see the theme echoed on linear sublimated graphics covering each shoe’s special packaging.   Click through to see more of the Nike Basketball 2011 NBA All Star Game sneakers and stick with Sneaker News for more in this week leading up to the Super Bowl of sneakers.
