The Nike Hyperfuse has served as the all-purpose shoe for Nike Basketball in the NBA. It’s on the feet of a large percentage of Nike athletes in the NBA, and it’s been subject to the widest Player Exclusive roll-out we’ve ever seen done by Nike. It’s been given an ankle strap and a Max Air unit, and it’s been cut down to a low-cut basketball shoe. The Hyperfuse is simply here to stay, and with the sophomore effort arriving in just a few months, it might be time to wonder where the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse ranks in the all-time greatest Nike Basketball sneakers ever created. The Hyperfuse 2011 isn’t much different from the original in that the upper is entirely comprised of the three-layer breathable Fuse material. The only window-less portion of the upper is the medial toe, which is a key stress point for the foot – particular for basketball. The swoosh has been lowered to the midsole portion and the ankle collar has been removed as well. This upcoming White/Varsity Red colorway should hit stores in Fall 2011 so take a better look after the jump and let us know what you think. via CK.
