“It’s weird for me because i’ve been out in L.A. now for like…fifteen years, and i’ve never done a movie.”

The above point is indeed a valid statement made by Kobe Bryant. He’s in the city with the most exposure to film, and yet Kobe Bryant was never featured in a movie. Shaq and Penny starred in Blue Chips, Darius Miles, Quentin Richardson, and Michael Olowakandi were co-eds in Van Wilder, but until ‘The Black Mamba‘, Kobe was never given the game ball when it came to acting. There was that one appearance on the TV show Moesha, which starred Kobe’s then girlfriend/close pal Brandy. Here’s a look at some outtakes from ‘The Black Mamba’, featuring Kobe, Kanye West, Danny Trejo, and Bruce Willis, and you’ll see even the most skilled beings are vulnerable to some sort of mess-ups. The full video is after the jump so take a look and let us know what you thought of Kobe’s acting debut!
