These new ‘Lifestyle’ colorways of earlier Nikes have done well so far in terms of popularity; the Glass Blue Air Max CB34, almost every new colorway of Foamposites, etc. have seen an inordinate amount of anticipation that you’d expect only for the OG colorways. It’s a newer generation that associates Charles Barkley to terrible golf swings and hilarious quips, not hard-nosed rebounding and rough style of play (like when he simply tore the ball from Michael Jordan’s hands during an inbounds play during the ’93 Finals).
