Describing it as ‘controversial’ might be pushing it, but for Diggy Simmons, who has his own footwear line and a father who’s name and icon is immediately attached with adidas, wearing Air Jordans might raise some eyebrows. But Jordans have been a fashion statement in the hip-hop community since the beginnings of the Air Jordan line, so there’s no brand disloyalty here. Diggy Simmons, who attended Tuesday’s Official XXL Freshman Live Concert, wore the Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’ during a live performance in front of a raging crowd.
