SoleHeaven’s Sneaker Lounge brick-and-mortar location is known for throwing entertaining events, its last a late-night basketball session in honor of the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ release. Their latest get-up was in celebration of not just one shoe but an entire brand and the Asics Spring/Summer 2011 launch party showcased all of the Onitsuka Tiger’s retro running offerings for the first half of this year. Old school models like the Gel Lyte III, GT II and GT Ultra were on display, with breakdancers battling it out on the hardwood to emphasize the classic vibe.
