For a Nike SB Blazer High that looks like it just came out of the La Brea tar pits, it’s somewhat poetic that the design seems to be evolving like the fossil records. These joints first came onto the scene back in February along with a preview of other June 2011 Nike SB footwear releases, but back then their uppers were a decidedly lighter shade of leather. The photos we saw last week seemed to indicate a darker distressed look with the same style Swoosh, and that still seems to be the case but one of these newest shots could pass for suede. As for the Swoosh, Kasina reports the color as Volt, but these aren’t quite as neon as we’ve come to expect from that well-loved shade, so we’ll have to wait for another round of images to make a final determination.
