Jordan Brand opens its doors in Japan with Jordan Tokyo23, a Japan-based central hub for all things Jordan Brand. Assisting in the grand opening is the Air Jordan V Tokyo23, which features a familiar yellow/white/black colorway reminiscent of the Air Jordan IV ‘Lightning’ that released some years ago. On the heel sidewall is the new ’23’ logo that represents the Jordan Tokyo23 capsule, inspired by the Shibuya Ward of Japan, one of 23 wards that make up the most populous areas of Tokyo. The upper also features accents of grey on the lace-eyelets, which matches the metallic silver 3M tongue. The Air Jordan V Tokyo23 is currently slated for a release later this month, but is subject to change, and appears to be limited to Japanese retailers only.
