Sneakerheadism and hip-hop culture go hand in hand, from their shared basketball influences to the love of beats and rhymes. In recent years, almost as many rappers have gotten shoe deals as ballers have signature models, but let’s not forget it was Run-DMC’s legendary adidas Ultrastar shelltoes that started this trend some twenty-five years ago.
