The Vans Custom Culture competition, now in its second year, allows high school art classes to design their own individual custom pair of white Vans with the grand prize being a $50,000 grant towards the school’s art program. After countless submissions from across the nation, Vans had the difficult task of whittling down the crop to 50 selections (10 schools per region), and today, the polls are now open for you to vote for your favorite custom design. From there, the Top 5 finalists will be flown to NYC this June to compete in a final round, judged by industry experts Tony Alva, Mr. Cartoon, and more. Check out last year’s winner after the jump and don’t forget to vote now at the Vans Custom Culture website!
