This July marks America’s 235th birthday and we’ll be treated to a patriotic colorway on a model celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’ was one of the original four released back in 1988, so while many Sneaker News readers were too young to remember or not even born yet, the older amongst us can already lead our children in the ways of Jordan collecting. Pictured above is the AJ3 Retro in grade school sizes, most notably different from the mens/adult edition by its removal of a single of the bottom eyelets. It gives them a playful almost cartoonish look like the various characters you see depicted with four fingers and seems appropriate for the youngsters who’ll be wearing these. Click through to see some more detailed images from Dunk and if you want to get your kids’ summer off to an early start with some heat, grab a pair early on eBay.
