Tonight we’ll see how good Oklahoma City’s shot at an NBA Championship really is, their pivotal game five matchup with Memphis a virtual must-win. The Grizzlies have been playing phenomenal basketball but haven’t rolled through the Thunder like they did the top-seeded Spurs in large part due to the stellar play of OKC’s scoring champion, Kevin Durant. Durant has already made the leap to elite superstar status but a ring would cement his legacy, and with perfect timing too, since it looks like the best release from his Nike Basketball signature sneaker line is just around the corner. The Nike Zoom KD IV is going to see a bunch of releases as Durant’s star only brightens; everything from Thunder and TB team looks to special edition colorways will feature the Zoom KD 4’s unique medial strap and a unique ‘Thunderbolt’ traction pattern.
