Boing boing. At the turn of the century, Nike introduced Shox technology, which was as comfortable as it was gimmicky. Compared to sleek nature of Max Air, Shox was a turn in a completely opposite direction as Shox cushioning gave its shoes a completely futuristic, robotic appeal. While Shox is still prevalent in running quarters, it’s been slowly phased out of Basketball over the last few years thanks to the supreme comfort of Zoom Air and re-tooled basketball-specific Max Air. Nike Shox Basketball is about to make a big comeback with the Nike Hypershox, which features the newer Air-infused Shox pillars for cushioning and a Hyperfuse upper. The Hypershox is set for a debut later this year, but take a look at this detailed gallery of an upcoming Grey/Red/White colorway below and let us know what you think. via Marqueesole.
