The world was introduced to Nike Shox Basketball when Vince Carter jumped over and cleared the seven footer Frederic Weis, for a vicious dunk in what seemingly ended Weis’ NBA career at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Carter continued to lead Shox Basketball with his own signature line, the Nike Shox VC, but now Nike Basketball is poised to revive Shox Basketball with the Nike Hypershox; a fusion of the upper and midsole of the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 with an Air Shox unit. A cool feature of this Black/Black colorway of the Hypershox is the metallic swoosh on the midsole that changes color when viewed at different angles.
