It’s been a ‘bright’ year for the Nike Air Foamposite Pro, with vibrant colorways like Electric Green already released and Retro Teal headed our way. For the later Fall 2011 season, Nike Sportswear is bringing back ‘Dark Pine‘, which captures a darker tone more fitting of the Fall 2011 season. Hip-hop star and noted celeb-sneakerhead Wale sported the Dark Pine Foamposite Pro some time ag, but here we get a first detailed look at this upcoming release; ‘Dark Pine’ takes on a slightly metallic finish, and it is oddly paired with a brighter green tone on the swoosh at the base of the lace-placket and the detailing on the tongue as well as on the outsole. Combine it with the mildly blue-tinted outsole and you have a mish-mash of colors that either works to perfection or fails to mesh. Like with most Foamposite releases, it all depends on the lightning, and in various angles, the Dark Pine takes on multiple personalities. Check out the detailed images below and let us know what you think of this tentative September 2011 Foamposite release. via MarqueeSole.
