Set to hit retailers just in time for the fall season are three new pairs of the Sk8-Hi Standard Issue LX from the Vans Vault collection. The Stand Issue LX takes the Vans Classic Sk8-Hi and updates it with additional layered materials, namely a thick stripe obscuring the trademark wave that runs on the siding of most Vans models. The updates combined with the darker colorways from this drop form an overall smarter look, something a bit more serious that the typical Vans fare. A standout from this Fall 2011 collection is the Bracken Brown colorway, with a rugged palette featuring red corded laces that give off the feel of classic outerwear.
