Last August’s Dunk High SB designed by Rhode Island’s Civil skateshop dropped around the time that it could be considered an open-parenthesis on a stretch during which the sneaker scene has been subject to persistent grey-outs. A year and countless Cool Grey aftershocks later, this year’s August Nike SB Dunk will also feature a grey suede upper, a look that paired with a blue Swoosh and gum sole led some to refer to these as ‘Un-Irons’ after the 2003 original. But these latest images reveal softer Medium Grey and University Blue shades than the Iron and Sport Royal, respectively, on those OGs.
