Despite being far removed from his college days, Carmelo Anthony’s kicks keep coming in colorways that reflect his alma mater. Or maybe his recent move to the New York Knicks was more influential than his time at Syracuse for this orange creamsicle looking edition of the Jordan Future Sole M7. This sneaker, the winning design from the Future Sole 2010 Design Contest, comes with a wavy grid sweeping along the side of the shoe, heightened ankle support, and some nice bubbles in the back for cushioning. The various logos on the sneaker tell the tale of how it came to be, a meeting between Jordan Brand, Melo, and the Future Sole contest, with a special tribute to Melo’s late sister Chelle.
