All eyes are on the December 2011 release of the Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’, but if you need something to distract you from all of the Concord hoopla and excitement, take a look at this other 1995 Basketball shoe, slated for a December 2011 release. Although the Nike Air Max Uptempo 2 isn’t as glamorous as the Concord XI, it’s still considered, by a select group, to be one of Nike Basketball’s best Air Max Basketball designs. The 180-degree Max Air heel with the graphic detail inside the Air unit wasn’t seen in many other shoes, and the mesh upper combined with the separated panels allowed for increased forefoot and midfoot flexion – a paramount performance detail on any basketball shoe. We’ve got more images of the Air Max Uptempo 2 ‘Duke’ below so take a look and let us know if you have plans on copping these this December. via in52.
