The wait is almost over, with the 2011 version of the Air Jordan V Retro in Black/Metallic Silver finally hitting shelves this Saturday. This has been a classic colorway since it made its debut on MJ’s feet back in 1990, with each subsequent release getting snapped up pretty quickly. The 2011 version stands out from the previous iterations with the blue tint found on the icy sole, a technique we’ve seen quit a bit from Jordan Brand in recent years that is supposedly helpful in slowing down the dreaded yellowing process.
