As sneakerhead culture continues to grow in breadth and sophistication, perhaps it’s time we adopt some objective criteria to discuss different designs. But we usually can’t agree on a favorite colorway for one model, much less a rigid set of criteria for what’s ‘best’, which is one of the most compelling parts of this hobby, and also something that leaves us without something like sabermetrics to put our kicks head-to-head. But if there were some kind of ranking of kicks with the most solid releases within the smallest band of color expression, the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski would be leaps and bounds ahead of its competition. We’ve seen quite a few different black Stefan Janoski SBs, but yet this perforated leather pair is sure to sell out like all the others before it because it’s impeccably styled and supremely versatile.
