adidas has never been a brand to imitate Nike Running’s famed cushioning platforms, but in the case of these latest drops, it’s hard not to picture one of the many 180-degree Max Air releases we’ve seen over the past two decades or so. The adidas Originals MEGA Softcell RH applies an exaggerated bubbly look to the heel of these two new releases, one in a Chicago-style colorup in which you might picture Derrick Rose running, the other cast in tonal blues with white and silver accents.
