Air Jordan III ‘Denim’ – 2009 Sample

Air Jordan Iii Denim 2009 Sample 02

With so many samples of Air Jordans and Nikes that enter the experimental stage, a few are bound to get lost in the shuffle. Sneaker News recently showed you the Air Jordan III ‘Denim’ that mysteriously popped up around the net, and considering the current year’s milestone for the Air Jordan III, some speculated that these were a sample at perhaps an upcoming release. Unfortunately, the Air Jordan III ‘Denim’ is just another unreleased sample from years past – 2009 to be exact; it was spotted on the feet of then Jordan Brand Footwear Business Director Astor Chambers, who wore the sample during that year’s Jordan Brand Quai 54 basketball tournament in Paris. By year’s end, Chambers left his role with the Jumpman and focused his industry talents on 2010’s World Basketball Festival. As Chambers left, so did the possibility of a release for the Denim IIIs, and it’s likely that the Khaki Suede sample we showed you alongside the Denim met a similar fate. In any case, the myth has been busted: these are not an upcoming sample. We do have an extra shot for you below – a never-before-seen look at the heels – so check ’em out and let’s hear your opinions. via SC.
