It was removed from the Nike SB regular rotation to make room for Stefan Janoski’s docksider-inspired signature, but is the model pictured above really any closer to a traditional boat shoe than, say, Paul Van Doren’s original Authentics? The Nike SB Zoom Harbor certainly has a clean design, but its correspondence to the high seas isn’t as obvious as the Janoski line. Then again, this tonal (off-) white look does indeed remind one that plimsolls have been in use on and around the beach since they were first created some 180 years ago.
