If those monthly CCS catalogs represent the extent of your exposure to the skateboarding world, you might not know that french label Cliché Skateboards has been sliding and grinding for nearly fifteen years now. The name is one of a scant few words with identical meanings in English and French, and some of this postmodern self-awareness has manifested itself in the look of this new collaboration with San Francisco’s most famous skate brand. The Huf x Cliché collection includes the HUF Hufnagel Pro in grey suede with yellow trim and a white sole, a colorway that along with a bit of black, describes the deck, 5-panel cap and run of tee shirts that round out the capsule. If you’ve ever wondered what it’d look like to see one of the Golden Gate Bridge’s towers gone Eiffel, click through and check em out.
