The adidas Consortium label got its start in 2007 as just what its name would imply: a select group of collaborators who sought to take classic Three Stripes models to new heights of quality. They roundly succeeded, with a series of releases that includes standouts like the ZX 700 Boat and the massively impressive aZX Collection helping to draw attention to the also burgeoning Originals umbrella, though only one of these Three Stripes sublabels has continued to release heat. In fact, we haven’t heard word one from adidas Consortium since last spring’s HUF Rod Lavers, so the news that ‘consortium returns’ on the cover of Sneaker Freaker 22 is indeed welcome news. The bringback capsule includes five whited-out standby models that come across as pure as the driven snow in White Vapour, a pristine shade that looks amazing on these minimally branded classics. Click through to see all of them and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these models slated to release on Saturday, November 26th.
