A bit over sixteen years ago, Nike Running released one of the most iconic sneaker designs of all time, a masterpiece authored by designer Sergio Lozano who attempted to channel some of the human body’s elegance into a shoe designed to keep it operating at peak performance. The Nike Air Max 95 was a smash hit out of the gate and has been around for most of the intervening years thanks to a consumer demand that has these near the top of the all-time list for retro releases. And while we’ve come to expect the OG grey gradient pairs in new accent shades, it’s always nice to get something fresh after all these years, but Nike Sportswear’s latest comes in the form of a design revision along with a huge potential for all-new looks. The Nike Air Mx 95 360 utilizes Hyperfuse construction for an updated appearance that allows the signature ‘muscle fibers’ to be colored in the same shade as laces, eyelets and a full-length Max Air cushion. This first Volt edition reprises the OG Neon colorway and should give you a great idea of what’s in store for some of the other beloved classics; would you rather have the tech-upgraded edition or the immortal original?
