LeBron James’ Nike Basketball signature series never lacks for a special Christmas Day colorway, but last year marked the first time in the King’s eight year career that the holiday edition was released on anything other than his primary regular season model. But whereas the LeBron 8 and V/2 split duties roughly between best possible looks and ultimate performance, the Nike LeBron 9 wraps all these qualities up into a single tech-packed design whose ‘Christmas Day’ colorway is perhaps even bolder than last year’s all-red V/2s.
