21 years after its debut, the Nike Air Max 90 in its original form is still a tried and true classic. But that doesn’t mean it can’t withstand change. Of all the Air Max models, the Air Max 90 has been altered from its original form in a number of ways – either on a structural standpoint (Current, Current Huarache) or with materials (Hyperfuse, Wool). As long as the Air Max 90 remains as the heart and soul, it’ll be as much of a hit as any other Air Max 90 rendition, and this recently release Wool VT version is undeniable proof. Sneaker News has been previewing the Nike Air Max 90 VT releases for the Holiday season, but few carry that ‘lux’ appeal like this wool-uppered version, which is given a splash of style with the speckled Max Air housing, the perforated faux-leather inner-lining, and the trail-inspired laces.
